Name origin: In the mid-19th century, Filip Stillfried built the Vizovice château in the Trubiska valley as the center of a hunting ground. From 1887, under Rudolf Stillfried, it served as a gamekeeper’s lodge until 1945, when it was expropriated from Rudolf’s daughters, Gabriela Draškovičová and Mariana Boos Waldeck, who identified as German. The château later served forestry and recreational purposes and is now owned by the Pozděchov Hunting Association.
