Name origin: Detenice chateau - a Baroque castle whose history dates back to the early 15th century. At that time, a fortress was built, which was transformed into a Renaissance and later Baroque residence. Visitors can take a tour of the interiors with historical artefacts - Gothic, Renasissance and Baroque frescoes, will paintings and Rococo and Classicist stucco decorations, historical weapons and hunting trophies. Adjacent to the castle is the original medieval tavern and castle brewery.
