Kids love running barefoot but sometimes this is just not practical... Give their feet protection without taking away that great feeling of going barefoot.
Front of the shoe is extremely wide allowing plenty of space for the forefoot which allows for natural feet development. The sole bends in all direction making this shoe highly flexible in contrast with rigid shoes which could affect how a child uses the muscles and bones in their feet – very important in early years when learning to walk. Zero drop (the angle between your heel and toes) is another key feature for barefoot style.
The combination of flexibility and wide forefoot helps children to meet the ground wholeheartedly and it helps them to be aware of their body in space (known as proprioception or kinesthesia).
